🙂 I do this all the time, only I use green beans and progresso light soup. I generally add Sriachi (sp) (Chinese hot sauce) to give it a boost of flavor. Glad you found a way to sneak in the veggies. Happy New Year.
I have some sriracha sauce but I can’t quite get with the flavor! I’ll have to pair the green beans with a different soup though.
I love to add mushrooms to mine but I’ll be sure to give this a try. I eat chicken noodle soup almost every single day for lunch.
Fresh or canned? I’ll try it with mushrooms, too.
I usually will us half a can and I chop them up finer than they are. I have used fresh but they take a long time to soften and I don’t really care for them al dente.
