I’ve been so busy as of lately with the end of the school year drawing near. Not to mention I have to pack and prepare for my move to the new school I will be working at in the fall.
I am looking forward to summer break. For once I have chosen not to teach summer school so that I may enjoy the time off. I could use the money, however, my sanity is far more important.
June 1st can’t come fast enough!

When people gripe about teachers getting the summer off, they have NO idea! They don’t realize how emotionally, physically, and spiritually draining the job is to a person. Summers coming! 🙂

Good for you for not working the summer. JAG is right about all of the energy teachers put into their jobs. We NEED the summers to put ourselves right (see our families…). While money is important, health, happiness, and spiritual fulfillment are more important — in fact vital.
It will be fun to read about your adventures with your family and your preparations for the next journey in your life.
