Of Disengagement

  1. That was a great article! I guess I disengaged when my husband and I first got together. I think each situation is different, but I completely agree with the responsiblity belonging to DH. Great find!

  2. I have always let my husband discipline his kids, and I have always disciplined my own. As far as “parenting” goes, I had to learn to let my husband do so with his kids in his own way. At first his ways drove me crazy. Now I am happy to let my husband parent in his way, it is actually less stressful to let him deal with any problems stemming from his kids. The solution to any problem usually lies within the skin of whose problem it is. If his kids are causing problems it is up to him to help THEM solve the problem. No more stress for me!
